You can either follow the instructions and bake into nice biscuity things, or do what I've been known to do and just eat the 'raw' mixture by the spoonful. :-)

Ingredients

180g margerine
180g brown sugar
210g oats
Golden syrup
Salt to taste

Method

  1. Pre-heat oven to 170.
  2. Gently heat the margerine, sugar and syrup in a saucepan until sugar has dissolved.
  3. Add oats and salt, mix well.
  4. Place mixture in a greased oven tray and bake in oven for 30 minutes.
  5. Cut into squares whilst still warm.
