If you fancy a quick and easy treat for lunch this is perfect for all you steak lovers out there.


20g watercress
1 garlic clove
1 medium sized rump steak
1 tbsp olive oil
1 ciabatta loaf (or bread of your choice)
1 little gem lettuce
3 tbsp of tomato relish
75g butter


  1. Finely chop the watercress and crush the garlic clove, mix both ingredients into the butter.
  2. Coat the steak in the olive oil and season with salt and pepper, fry to preference.
  3. Slice bread and butter with the butter from step 1.
  4. Slice steak and lettuce, add to bread along with the tomato relish.
